Cupcake’d explores repetition, variation, and material illusion through a structured visual system. A hand-painted nine-panel grid, set against a pristine white, candy-coated ground and framed in black, organizes the composition into a balanced and rhythmic field.
 
Within each square, a translucent cupcake form appears in a different color, rendered in glossy resin with a glass-like clarity. Light moves through each form differently, creating shifting highlights, soft internal reflections, and subtle shadow play that changes with perspective.
